Yesterday we celebrated our 2nd anniversary. And while we would have loved to have been holding our little girl in our arms by now it was nice to be able to spend another anniversary with just the two of us. It wasn't anything fancy. We made homemade spaghetti, bread sticks and salad and then made a yellow cake with chocolate frosting (our favorite) for dessert. We chatted while we at dinner and then ate our cake while watched the Padres beat the Cubs. And to top off the night we were in bed before 10:00 pm. Sound boring? Naw...it was nice and relaxing. I am beyond tired these days and Bud started his first job with the plumbing union yesterday and has to report to work at 6:00 am and so he is up by 5:00 am. I think my most favorite part about our marriage is that we are so comfortable with each other even after just two short years. It seems like we've known each other forever and yet these two years have gone by so fast. I am lucky to be married to my best friend. We are each strong where the other is weak and are constantly learning from each other. We are so excited to be parents and wait anxiously each day to see if "today" is the day she will arrive. We are grateful for the simple yet blessed lives that we have. We are happy and healthy and always have just enough for what we need and that is most important. We are truly blessed!

Congrats on two years! I can't wait to see pics of your new baby girl. She'll be here before you know it, and then you'll wonder what you ever did without her. Relax and enjoy the next few days until she arrives.
Congratulations on two years! And don't worry, that baby girl will eventually come. Probably when you give up and resign yourself to being pregnant forever. That's when Jonah finally came = 5 days late!
Happy Anniversary!!!! Congratulations- Sounds like the perfect evening really!
