41 weeks & 2 days until Baby!

Well...I certainly didn't think I would be making this post today. I thought for sure our little peanut would be here by now. But it looks like we are going to have to give her a little push to join us out here. ;-) I am scheduled to be induced on Monday morning at 5:00 am if she doesn't come this weekend. At my appointment on Friday I still had not progressed any further than the week before so I don't anticipate her making a surprise appearance but we can still hope! I really hoped that I wouldn't need to be induced but 9 days overdue is late enough! But I am glad that I decided to wait until Monday to be induced (I had the option of this past Tuesday). I wanted to give her a little more time and it also allowed me to help out at work during the first few days of classes. My mom is on her way from UT and should actually be here in about 45 min. We hadn't planned on her being here when the baby was born but things have just worked out that way. I know that she is very excited to be there and maybe, just maybe this little girl has been waiting for her grandma to come before she arrives. Either way I am excited to spend the day with her and to have her help this next week. I'll admit it was nice to be able to get up and clean my house this morning and do all the laundry. I am a planner and maybe Heavenly Father knew that I needed some time to "prepare" for her to come. On top of that Bud started his new job this week and it was nice for him to settle in and get to know his bosses before he needs to take a day off to be with us. Who knows why she hasn't come yet. What I do know is that things happen for a reason and Heavenly Father knows best. I feel at peace about being induced on Monday and that is what is most important. We are excited, anxious and nervous for her arrival and can't wait to show her off to all of our friends and family. Have great weekend and STAY TUNED!
