Memorial Day Weekend

Last weekend we went to California to visit Bud's family. The weather was beautiful and we definitely weren't ready to come home. While we were there Bud stayed busy umpiring a baseball tournament with his brother Danny to earn a little extra money and I got to relax and hang out with my sister-in-laws who threw me a wonderful baby shower. Everyone was so generous and gave us the most wonderful thoughtful gifts. We hope we can go back again this summer before the baby comes so we can spend some more time at the beach. ;-)

I thought that this was such a great idea! Instead of playing the typical shower games my sister-in-laws gathered clips, ribbons, bows and flowers and everyone made adorable hair clips. I now have a clip or bow for every outfit!
