Abby's birthday was yesterday! But since we are having a little party with her cousins on Saturday we just kept it low key. She woke up early so we played for a while and then aunt Jackie made pancakes for breakfast. After that she took an early nap while she snuggled with her daddy. Later in the afternoon we decided to head down to the beach since Bud had the day off. It was a little overcast but still really warm and the water felt great. Abby LOVES the beach and doesn't care how cold it is. She went out pretty far with Bud and then came back and played in the sand until she was covered. We had to take her out of her swimsuit and rinse her off before putting her in the car. We live like 3 miles from the beach and she was out cold by the time we got home. Too fun!

Looking for sand crabs. Right after this Bud caught two and she grabbed one and tried to put it in her mouth. Yuck!

Play hard, sleep hard. She was only in her swim diaper (the reusable kind) and I laid her on a blanket on the floor of her room with a towel over her and she slept for over an hour.
