On May 28th Abby and I flew to UT to visit my family and also so that I could be part of the Mormon Choral Organizations of America SLC tour that took place the first week of June. On Memorial Day my mom had to work so my Dad and I decided to drive up to Logan to put flower's on my Grandma Joyce Badger's and Great Grandma Wilson's graves. It had been raining all weekend but the sun came out just as we got to the cemetery. I wish I would have had the opportunity to have known her better (I was about 1 when she passed away from cancer.). My dad says that she is an amazing woman and my mom said that she just loved me to pieces. My little Abigail's middle name is her first name and I thought it was really special that we could go visit and take some pictures. It was also fun to visit my old stomping grounds from college and see the house I lived in for three of the five years I was there. I have such incredible memories of that beautiful Cache valley.

The rest of the trip was spent in downtown SLC recording "Messiah in America" in Abravenel Hall all week. At the end of the week we gave two concerts, one in the Tabernacle and one in Abravenel Hall. The concert in the Tabernacle was INCREDIBLE! The hall was packed and the spirit was so strong as we sang of the Savior's visit to the Americas in that sacred historical building. I don't think any of us will forget that experience. Sadly I didn't really take any pictures but I might be able to steal some later from friends.
