The Nursery (Part I)

So many of you have heard that we finally worked on getting the walls in the baby's room ready. I have been hesitating to post pictures since I don't have anything up on the walls yet and we still would like to add crown molding but I guess I can post those pictures later. So here is what we have so far. The final pictures I took a night so it makes the wall color even darker than it really is but it looks so good!

Before

During (testing colors & taping off the room)

We decided that Chocolate Brown was our color of choice!

Only painted halfway down so we could add some bead board

Everything smashed in the middle of the room

Bud hard at work with the bead board & table saw (it was only 112 that day. Blah!)

Finished! (Sorry for the bad shot and spots on the camera)

The big picture won't stay but it's there for now
(Jackie your frames are going to look great!)

Moved the bookshelf behind the door

The cute crib!
(The walls are so empty right now!)

Crib close-up

Chocolate walls go perfect with the chocolate polka dot in the bedding

Hopefully I'll get some fun stuff up on the walls soon. My sister gave me these really cute white distressed hooks that would look great with some cute white pictures frames hanging from them but I need to find some I like. So stay tuned!
