We drove to UT and stopped in Page so I could have a break from sitting in the car. We changed our shoes and hiked up to a look out in the Grand Canyon called Horseshoe Bend. It was beautiful but we totally should have taken some water. It was about 96 degrees and everyone was looking at me like I was crazy. I'll admit it was kind of hard. It was only about a mile round trip but the trail was thick sand in some parts which made climbing back up a little taxing in the heat. I even had a lady stop when she saw me and say, "OK, I'm done complaining. If you can do this I sure as heck can.". Kind of made me feel good I guess. My sister, sister-in-law and mom threw me a baby shower (see previous post for more on that)
We spent time relaxing at my parent's home
