Today is May 14th...do you know what that means? That means that our baby girl is scheduled to arrive 3 months from today! According to my mom and sister they both carried their babies right up to the due date so I don't expect this little girl to be making an early entrance to the world but you never know. My next appointment is in two weeks and I will be almost 29 weeks by then. I am anxious to get a glimpse of this little peanut and see how big she is now since we haven't seen her since she was 18 weeks. According to all the things I've read she should be around 3 lbs by then. I can't believe that! Ok maybe I can...last night was the first time I felt her put her foot on my rib and just push. Sheesh! That was a weird feeling. I imagine I'll be getting a few uncomfortable swift kicks here in the next few weeks. I also get to do the glucose test at the next appointment. I get to drink some thick fruit punch syrup and then hold it until they take my blood and hour later. I hear the babies go CRAZY after you drink that stuff. That should be fun. ;-)
The newest development lately is that my legs and feet are starting to get pretty swollen at the end of the day. Kankles...not the most attractive sight. Before I would get a little swollen after walking to my car (it's a bit of a walk from my office) at the end of the day but Wednesday around 3:00 pm I noticed my legs feeling tight and I looked down and was shocked how swollen they were. Since then I've tried extra hard to stay hydrated, prop my feet up under my desk and have started to take walks around campus every few hours to keep the blood flowing. It seemed to help a little bit yesterday. I'm not sure how much good it will do though once the AZ summer weather unleashes it's triple digits on us. :-) Oh well...it's all part of the fun I guess. Hopefully I'll have some new ultra sound pictures for you soon.

yeah, you gotta keep an eye on the swelling, make sure you aren't on your feet too much but yeah take a walk every day and when you get home, after sitting all day and your walk, lay down and put the feet higher than your body...
yay, yay, yay!
It's getting clooooser!
I can hardly wait! eeek!

Ha ha, ya. With Jeffrey I was unrecognizably swollen from head to toe, mostly toes though. My feet and ankles were horrible! With Katie nothing! It will go away after you have her. You are doing great!!!
