24 Weeks

I can't believe that I have been pregnant for 6 months now. The first three months seemed to go by really slow but these last three have flown by. I feel so blessed to have had a fairly easy pregnancy so far as I know so many women who have to struggle with being really sick. My biggest complaint is not being able to sleep for more than about 2 hours at a time because my right hip goes numb. It doesn't matter what side I sleep on, how many pillows I put between my legs or how much stretching or walking I do before I sleep. I get so uncomfortable I end up rolling on my back and then I wake up and my lower ab muscles hurt. But I figure if this is the worst thing I've had to deal with then I'm pretty lucky. Lately I've been sleeping with my back against a body pillow so if I roll I don't go all the way on my back and that has helped. Only woke up once last night. Wahoo! This Tuesday we go for another appointment and I imagine we'll get to have another ultra sound. I'm excited to see how much our baby girl has grown! She's been kicking a moving around a lot lately. I'll admit it's not so pleasant when you need to go to the bathroom but I love knowing that she is growing and developing because I can feel her moving. We sure can't wait to meet her!
