1 Year!

Our First Anniversary

I can't believe it's here already! Time has flown by this last year. We've had so much fun being married. We've had our ups and downs with the economy and personal struggles but as a team we were able to triumph over them all. I've had so many people tell me that the first year is the hardest...but I'm still waiting for that part. Maybe being older when we got married had something to do with the smooth transition. Who knows! But I am so grateful I married the man that I did. I get excited when I think about the adventures and experiences that we have ahead of us in the future. I'm certain there will be obstacles but I truly believe there is nothing we can't make through if we work together. So here is to many more wonderful years here on this earth and an eternity beyond. I love you Bud!

I totally know what you mean about the first year being smoother than most prepare you for. Brandon and I had the same experience. I always say that I made all mistakes on my roommates before I got married. Poor roommates. :)

Happy anniversary to you!

I can't believe it's been a year already! Congratulations! I'm so glad the past year has been a smooth transition. And the best thing is it will only get better.

yep, it will only get better. It isn't that the first year is the hardest (although it certainly was for us) it's that it gets so much better, (especially when the kids come along!)so it seems that way.

I agree - being older does help with the transition. Scott and I had it sooo much easier than my younger married friends because we had more realistic expectations of life and relationships. I think the life experience really helps.
Congrats!
