Strong Woman

Dear Shelley,

Right now you are on the road headed into an unknown future. You are moving your little family and everything you own to the Tuscon desert. The last few days have been stressful, emotional and exhausting. I know you are scared, tired, nervous and sad. But I want you to know how much I love you and how proud I am of you. You are one of the most beautiful, talented, kind people I know. I realize that we don't always see eye to eye about everything but I am so excited that you will be living only a short drive away. I know that it seems like everything has been working against you lately but I decided this morning as I was saying my prayers that there must be some incredible blessings in store for you in the future because of how tested and stretched you've been the last few months.

The next few days and weeks may not be easy as you settle into an a small apartment and try to make it feel like home, but I know you can do it. You have a knack for making home wherever you are. You have an amazing husband and children who love you and admire everything about you. Just remember how amazing you are too. So, Look out Tuscon! Here comes the most beautiful, sassy, talented, fun chick you've ever met. See you soon!

Love,

Your big sister ;-)

I agree, she is lucky to have a big sister like you. I know having you close will help her through this.

Cute post. Mike and I were just talking about missing them. But we are so excited for their new adventure. Man, put myself in Shelley's shoes and I would be freaking out too!! Scary step in their lives but they are strong enough for it!
