This past weekend I was able to pull of a really fun surprise for Bud. Every year all of the baseball teams come to the Phoenix are for spring training before the regular season starts. Tickets are really inexpensive and I thought that it would be really fun to surprise Bud and arrange for the both of us to have a day off to go since they are in the middle of the day. But then I thought of an even better idea...we've really been wanting to go to California to visit Bud's family but haven't been able to because of work so I thought that I'd see if I could arrange for Bud's older brother Danny to come out with his wife Erin and nephew Carson. So I sent a message to Erin on facebook and she loved the idea. I thought that we'd do it later in the month but she decided that this weekend was it! It was SO hard to keep the secret from Bud because I was so excited.
Saturday night before we went to bed I told him I had a surprise for him but that I was going to wait until Sunday to give it to him. he wanted a hint so I told him that it would make him very tired. He was confused but went along. Little did he know that Danny and Erin would be ringing the doorbell at 3:00 am. Needless to say he was really surprised. We had a BLAST hanging out together and going to the game. Even though it was the hottest day of the year so far (90 degrees!). We played cards, ate good food and Erin and I bonded over the season finale of the Bachelor. SO ridiculously dramatic. They headed back to CA Tuesday morning and we've missed them since. We love you guys so much and hope you come back soon! Thanks for helping with the fun surprise.

90 degrees? I am having a hard time remembering what trees look like with leaves let alone what it feels like to be in weather warm enough not to wear a coat.
Looks like you had fun!
I also have a feeling you'll be going to a lot more Padre games:) That looked like to so much fun, Danny is jealous!
Hello Kim! Ok, So I'm probably to late. But Phil & I wanted to know if you and Bud are busy Saturday night? We want you two to come over for a game night at our house. We are getting together between 6-7. Everyone is bringing a snack or dessert. Bri & Cam are coming and bringing homemade ice cream. Call me and let me know (480)380-5081. But knowing me, I'll probably call you and leave a message right now anyway. But just in case.
YEA!!!! I am so excited!! I don't have your number either. I tried to call my mom to get it, but she wasn't home. I thought for sure that you would be to busy to come hang out with lil' ol' us! :D So we'll see you Saturday!
Too cute. What a good wife! And 90 degrees!!!! No way! It just snowed here again.
Hey! It's been a while since I've made it over you your blog, but I had fun reading all that I've missed. I especially loved the 25 things about you and Bud. It was fun to get to know him... and of course read fun things about you. I just wanted to say- you're gonna love being a stay at home mom! I know what people say- but seriously- I felt how you did... and I LOVE it! I never get bored, and having one is so great because I do have plenty of time during nap times to get done all those things you listed. It's the BEST life ever. So keep looking forward to it, no matter what people say! Love ya!
