Bud's Birthday

This past Saturday was Bud's birthday.  My sweet friend Rebecca who I sing in the OCMCO choir with offered to watch Abby on Friday so that I could take Bud out for dinner.  We chose to go to Famous Daves for some good old southern BBQ.  Men love their meat and we had a $15 off coupon.  Can't beat that!  On Saturday we just relaxed and I let Abby help me make his favorite cake, yellow cake with chocolate frosting with Heath Bar on top.  She was so excited to help because recently she has been watching a Signing Time "Happy Birthday" video.  Bud didn't want me to make a big deal about his birthday but I told him we had to since Abby's 2nd birthday is in August and it would be fun for her to see him blow out the candles.  She has been talking about it ever since and walking around the house singing "Happy Birthday Daddy" to herself.  Too cute!
