Two Special Days

Two weeks ago we had the opportunity to participate in two special events. On November 6th we had the opportunity to go here:

The Mesa Temple

With this special lady:

My Grandma Barlow (my mom's mom)

And all of these wonderful people:

My whole family except my youngest brother & some aunts and uncles and cousins

to witness my grandmother being sealed to her mother and father for time and all eternity. We also each had the opportunity to stand in for several other great grandparents and aunts and uncles on my mom's side of the family. It was such a special evening and the spirit that was felt was incredible.

After we went to the temple we went here:

to partake of some of this deliciousness:

Pork Salad (yum!)

with the above group and several members of Bud's family who came to town for the special even that took place the next day.

Warning picture overload!

My parents and my my mom's brother Jack and wife Kelly

my sister Shelley

my parents and I

my little chicken (love the hair!)

my cousin Elisia & my Grandma

the girls!
(sorry no photos of the Packard's but I promise they were there enjoying the yummy food and good company.)

On November 7th we celebrated a very special day for our little Abigail as she was blessed in church by her dad. All of these wonderful people joined us that day and helped to fill the chapel to overflowing. It was a beautiful blessing and Abigail was a little angel and slept through the whole thing. :-)

Our little family with my parents

My little girl all in white (sadly no smiles because she was hungry)

Bud's parents and grandparents on his mom's side

It was such a special weekend and we are so grateful to all of you who made the long journey to be with us and to my brother Mike for all the beautiful pictures. I know there are more pictures on my sister's camera and on Bud's family's cameras so hopefully I'll have more to share.
