One of the many advantages of living in AZ is the opportunity of attending many of the spring training baseball games. Being from San Diego Bud is naturally a huge fan of the San Diego Padres. We had plans to attend several of the pre-season games this year but sadly only made it to one a few Saturdays ago. But the Padres beat the Cubs in their stadium so it didn't turn out too Bad. So when Bud discovered that the AZ Diamondback were playing their season opener against the San Diego Padres I told him he should go. I would have loved to have joined him but the game started at 2:00 pm today and I of course needed to be at work. So he is down at Chase Field right now with his boss Sam, Sam's daughter Georgia and Sam's twin Brother Brigham (some of his best Bud's who are of course Diamondback fans.) enjoying the game. I just got off the phone with him, the game was just starting and he had already caught two fly balls during batting practice. Let's just say he's in heaven right now. :-) The only thing that would make this day better for him is if the game were in San Diego and he was hanging out with his Dad and his brothers. Go Padres!

Georgia got to go!? I'm jealous! Brig told me they were going...sounds like they had good seats!
