CA Memorial Weekend Trip

Last weekend we went to CA for memorial day weekend. Bud and his brother Danny umpired a baseball tournament on Friday and all day Saturday to earn a little extra money and I got to hang out with my sisters-in-law. We went to Grandma Packard's and picked the peaches off of her tree and made peach, raspberry jam. We also got to go to Bud's little sister's lacrosse game. Erin and I made posters so that the family could cheer her on. It was really fun to watch them win the first round of the finals except Jamie didn't get to play. The other goalie is an upperclassman so she got all the playing time. But I hear she's awesome and I can't wait to see her play next year. On Memorial Day the boys played home run derby and were kind enough to let me play even though I can't hit it over the fence. Later that day we went to the beach and then had a great dinner with all the family and of course played "Make A Million" the family card game (didn't have the camera that day). It was a ton of fun. We sure love going to CA! Next trip is up to Utah to see my family over the 4th of July.

So fun! Love the posts. I hate car trouble we are dealing with almost the exact same things. Four new tires baby!

It is looking like we might, (key word might) be back for the fourth of July from our Lake Powell trip so we can spend it with you guys!! Cross fingers.
