Well we are back from California. We had so much fun with Bud's family. We ate thanksgiving dinner at his aunt and uncles home, Kevin & Lisa, and the food was fantastic. I love that I married into such a big family. Never a dull moment. There was food, football, ping pong and even a game of Shanghai before we called it a night. We stayed with his sister Jackie and her husband Dave while we were there and it was a ton of fun. We had amazing post Thanksgiving omelets courtesy of Dave and played Mario cart and Wii sports on the Wii until our arms hurt. Bud played flag football Thanksgiving morning with the boys and they got really muddy since it had rained all night. Friday we did a little shopping in the afternoon, helped load the nativity and other stuff for the temple display on to the flat bed and played some basketball down at the stake center. I didn't get to play that long because I pulled my quad muscle really bad which was annoying and hurt like crazy but it was still fun.
Saturday we went down to the temple to help hang some lights and then played softball with some of Dave's friends. I was a little limited in my abilities because of the pulled muscle but we still had fun and even got a little sunburned on our faces. Saturday night was one of the highlights in my opinion. All the girls in the family ( except Toreva and Jamie, we missed you gals!!) went to dinner at BJ's and then did a session at the temple. It was so fun and really gave me a chance to get to know everyone better. Sunday we went to Jackie and Dave's ward to hear Jackie speak and then headed to Mom and Dad Packard's to visit and say goodbye. We sure had a blast and love you guys tons. I'm just kicking myself that we didn't have a camera the whole trip. Oh well...I'll do better next time. More fun times to come at the Packard reunion in August and then again next Christmas. We're off to Utah for Christmas this year and I can't wait to see my family. Maybe we'll even have a white Christmas!? See you soon!

Glad you guys had fun! Can't wait to see you for Christmas. I don't know about the "WHITE" part, but it will be cold.
