Still Alive

Hello family and friends. Just thought I'd check in to let you know we are still alive down here in AZ. Not too much has changed. We love being here and love our little ward. I am currently serving as the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society Presidency and they told Bud they have a calling in the works for him. Last weekend we went to California for Bud's younger brother Bernie's wedding. He married a really sweet girl named Toreva and it seems like she will be a great addition to the family. It was great to get away for the weekend and see the Packard & Bennett clans. We sure miss them but it makes it even more fun when we get to visit. I wish I had pictures but I don't. We're horrible at taking them. We always take our camera but never take pictures. Go figure.

This Friday we start playing on a co-ed softball league with some of our friends and we are very excited about that. Saturday I am singing in a Musical Theater competition and then we are going to see the opera at ASU that evening that a bunch of my friends are in. Next week is Thanksgiving and we are planning on staying in town and having dinner with my Mom's sister's and all of her kids at my cousin Elisia's house. The day will be full of food, fun and of course FOOTBALL! Should be a fun day.

We are getting really excited to go to Utah for Christmas and will be heading out on Saturday the 20th and staying until the following Saturday. I'm excited to see my family and to just relax. Maybe if we're lucky we'll even have a white Christmas. If any of my old pals will be in SLC for the holidays let me know. Hope you are all doing well!

I'm going to be in Utah! And we absolutely have to hang out! Promise? I'm flying in on the 15th, so I'll beat you there. Time for a major reunion.
