Less than two months to go!

Things are still pretty much the same here in AZ. We have less than two months to go until the wedding and we are getting pretty excited! So many people have been helping us with all the little details and we are so grateful for all of you. I've been at my new job for about a week and a half now and so far it's going pretty well. I haven't received a lot of training so I've been on the phones a lot but things will pick up next week. Bud has been working long hours since his boss is on vacation but he likes to stay busy and loves the paycheck he gets at the end of the week.

I thought that things would slow down for us as softball season ended but we've been staying busy with with wedding plans, volleyball and attending an engaged couples class once a week that the stake provides and just having fun. But we like being busy. The most exciting thing we have done lately is take our engagement pictures. One of our friends from the ward is a professional photographer and graphic designer and after seeing the work she did at her sister's wedding we knew for sure we wanted to hire her. So last Saturday we headed to downtown Mesa to do our photo shoot. She took us to some really great places and even though it was 116' (yes that's right 116'!!!) I think we got some really great shots. And I have to say...who knew that shy, reserved Bud Packard would be such a little poser! She didn't have to direct him hardly at all. He was striking poses left and right. What a hoot! She has been spending this last week editing everything and hopefully we should be able to see the results soon! I will post some pictures as soon as I can. Ok I guess that's all for now. Kathy, Jack and the kids (Bud's sister) are coming to visit this weekend so we are going to play and swim all day Saturday. We're really excited to see them. Hope they're ready for the heat! More to come soon!
